Lithium diisopropylamide (14.3 mL, 28.6 mmol) was added dropwise at -78 C. to a solution of 4-bromo-2-chloro-1-fluorobenzene (5.00 g, 23.9 mmol) in THF (40 mL) added. The combined organic layers were concentrated and purified by chromatography (0 to 10% EtOAc in petroleum ether) to give the title compound.
