The solvent was evaporated; the residue was crystallised from acetonitrile, giving 6-ACETOXY-4- (3-CHLORO-2-FLUOROANILINO)-7-METHOXYQUINAZOLINE hydrochloride as a pale pink crystalline solid (8.16 g, 92%) ; 1H NMR : 2.37 (s, 3H), 4. 00 (s, 3H), 7.34 (ddd, 1H), 7. 48 (s, 1H), 7.52 (ddd, 1H), 7.61 (ddd, 1H), 8. 62 (s, 1H), 8. 86 (s, 1H) ; Mass Spectrum : 362.4, 364.4.
