The insoluble material is filtered off by suction and washed successively with water and ether, and then dried under vacuum at 20 C. The resulting beige-coloured solid is slurried in dichloromethane, filtered off by suction and dried under vacuum at 20 C. 1.24 g of 3-chloro-6-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine are thus obtained.
