Evidence is presented which suggests that this new compound is [Pt(η2-L1)L2] and (L1 = olefin) and exist 3 isomeric forms. Very slow dynamic behavior of this compound is observed in solution at low temperatures, but on heating a change of isomeric ratios occurs. [PtL3] (L = P(OBu)3) reacts with the C-H bond in C6F5H to yield trans-[PtH(C6F5)L2] an unstable derivative observed only in solution
