Jiaolong capsule (JLC) was approved for the therapy of gastrointestinal diseases by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) of China. Thirty female SD rats were distributed into six groups randomly and equally, namely, control, TNBS, TNBS + sulfasalazine (625 mg/kg), and TNBS + three different doses of JLC (25, 50, and 100 mg/kg) groups. The effect of JLC on restoring normal structures of colorectum and repairing colonic damage were superior to that of sulfasalazine. The UV studies reveal that the band-gap values were tuned (from 2.71 eV in Rb2SnCl6 to 3.78 eV in (Rb0.5Cs0.5)2SnCl6), resulting in a blue shift of the PL emission peak (from 458 to 328 nm) due to the incorporation of caesium in rubidium site. The thermal stability of (Rb0.5Cs0.5)2SnCl6 is enhanced over other synthesized defect perovskite materials because 76% of samples remained at the highest temperature of 750 °C. Synthesized defect perovskite materials were used in the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye under UV light radiation. Furthermore, an excellent photocatalytic degradation is observed for (Rb0.5Cs0.5)2SnCl6 (78% to 85%) compared to other defect perovskite materials even after 120 min irradiation The increase in photocatalytic efficiency of (Rb0.5Cs0.5)2SnCl6 is due to strong absorption of light, large separation of electron-holes pairs and the size of the nanoparticles. While the reverse emulsion methods traditionally only give core-shell nanostructures, we show that Janus nanostructures could be readily obtained by introducing salt solutions Given the isolated pockets of reverse emulsion, the salt solutions could reach extreme concentrations, up to 700 times higher than what is possible via the Stober method. Both the increasing amount of the doped cations in the silica and the decreasing cationic radius would enhance the interactions with the neg. charged silica precursor, resulting in poorer ”wetting” of the silica domain on the Fe3O4 nanoparticles. In other words, with increasing strength of the internal interactions, the growth domain would have a higher tendency to curl up and reduce its unfavorable interfaces, leading to poorer wetting. The tuning of the solid-solid wetting is of great significance for the design and synthesis of Janus nanoparticles, in particular their precise structural modulation. We believe that our new means of structural modulation beyond the interface itself would open new synthetic routes at the nanoscale.
