Sakurai, Toshihiko published the artcileFormation of nanofibrillar aggregates by water-soluble β-structural oligopeptide, (L-Leu-L-Lys)8, SDS of cas: 36428-96-3, the main research area is leucine lysine pyrenyl peptide nanofibrillar aggregate.
The oligopeptide with an alternating sequence, Pyr(LK)8 (Pyr = pyrenyl-2-carbonyl; L = L-leucine, K = L-lysine), formed helical tape-like aggregates in an aqueous solution at pH 7. Addition of NaCl induced random coil-to-β-structure transition to show the excimer peak of pyrenyl groups, although no similar result was observed in the corresponding non-alternating, random oligopeptide Pyr(LKLKKLLLKKLLKLKK).
Chemistry Letters published new progress about Aggregation. 36428-96-3 belongs to class chlorides-buliding-blocks, name is Pyrene-2-carboxylic acid, and the molecular formula is C17H10O2, SDS of cas: 36428-96-3.
