A Cu2O nanoparticle catalyzed borylation of activated and unactivated alkyl bromides is developed, using bis(pinacolato)diboron as a boron source. To the best of our knowledge this is the first report of a heterogeneous Cu2O nanocatalyst applied in the direct synthesis of primary and secondary alkylboronic esters. Our catalytic system features mild reaction conditions, high yield (nearly 100%) and the absence of ligands which otherwise are essential in homogenous catalysis. This study involved multiple reactions and reactants, such as 1-Bromo-6-chlorohexane (cas: 6294-17-3Computed Properties of C6H12BrCl).
1-Bromo-6-chlorohexane (cas: 6294-17-3) belongs to organic chlorides. Organic chlorides are compounds containing a carbon-chlorine bond, which are widely used in the oil field as a wax dissolver. Alkanes and aryl alkanes may be chlorinated under free radical conditions, with UV light. However, the extent of chlorination is difficult to control.Computed Properties of C6H12BrCl
