Hideo, Endo published the artcileAntitumor activity of phenazine derivatives against S 180 and C 63 in mice I, Product Details of C22H23ClN4, the publication is Sci. Rept. Res. Inst., Tohoku Univ., Ser. C (1965), 12(1), 53-7, database is CAplus.
Phenazine and 68 derivatives of phenazine were screened for their antitumor activity against Sarcoma 180 and Carcinoma 63, transplanted in mice. The ratio of the average weights of tumors in the treated and the controls, and the ratio of body weight changes in the 2 groups were recorded for each compound 2-Methoxyphenazine, 3,7-diamino-2-methylphenazine and 3-morpholino-1,2-benzophenazine at doses of 50 mg./kg.-body weight/day, brought down the tumor weight to less than half in the carcinoma infected mice and 3-acetamido-7-amino-5-phenylphenazonium chloride at the same dosage caused a similar effect in the sarcoma-infected animals. No correlation was observed between tumor weight change and the change in body weight in the treated animals.
Sci. Rept. Res. Inst., Tohoku Univ., Ser. C published new progress about 4569-86-2. 4569-86-2 belongs to chlorides-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Other Aromatic Heterocyclic,Salt,Amine,Benzene, name is 3-Amino-7-(diethylamino)-5-phenylphenazin-5-ium chloride, and the molecular formula is C22H23ClN4, Product Details of C22H23ClN4.
