Rao, Jyothi N. published the artcileSolvent free microwave-assisted synthesis of some novel pyrimidinones/thiones and their biological studies, Recommanded Product: 1-(4-Chlorophenyl)thiourea, the publication is Chemica Sinica (2016), 7(3), 38-42, database is CAplus.
Pyrimidinone derivatives I [R = H; X = O; R1 = CH3, C2H5] and pyrimidinethione derivatives I [R = H, C6H5, 4-MeOC6H4, 4-MeC6H4, etc.; X = S; R1 = C2H5] were synthesized via reaction of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-chloro-pyrazole-4-aldehyde, Et acetoacetate/methyl acetoacetate and urea/thiourea/thiourea derivatives under conventional heating as well as microwave irradiation All the newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The antimicrobial study revealed that pyrimidinone compound I [R = H; X = O; R1 = C2H5] and pyrimidinethione compounds I [ R = 4-MeOC6H4, 4-BrC6H4, 4-O2NC6H4; X = S; R1 = C2H5] showed excellent antibacterial and antifungal activities against all the tested organisms.
Chemica Sinica published new progress about 3696-23-9. 3696-23-9 belongs to chlorides-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Chloride,Thiourea,Amine,Benzene,Amide, name is 1-(4-Chlorophenyl)thiourea, and the molecular formula is C7H7ClN2S, Recommanded Product: 1-(4-Chlorophenyl)thiourea.
